2024 Annual SA Bike Ride

Ride 28 miles on the American River Bike Trail, beginning at William B. Pond, looping around Lake Natoma, and returning to the start, followed by an SA meeting.

Date: Saturday June 15, 2024
Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (breakfast until 8:30 AM, ride, followed by fellowship meeting)
Location: William B. Pond Recreation Area, 5700 Arden Way, Carmichael, CA 95608

Details:

•  Meet at William B. Pond Recreation Area in Carmichael 8:00am for check in, coffee, bagels, etc.
• The Ride starts rolling out at 8:30am. It is NOT a race.
• Two Rest Stops, one on way to Lake Natoma and one on way back, with refreshments at the Nimbus Fish Hatchery.
• Finish the ride, enjoy a DIY Sandwich bar with fixings, followed by an SA Meeting
• Bring bike, helmet, recovery and determination. Highly recommend wearing padded shorts and sunscreen.
• If you need a bike, let’s talk about getting you rolling.

Directions:

From U.S. Highway 50, take the Watt Avenue northbound off-ramp.
Turn right at Fair Oaks Blvd., then make another right on Arden Way. Arden Way will come to an end at the park’s entrance. Address: 5700 Arden Way, Carmichael, CA 95608.
Come in past the pay station, (pay if driving) and park in the lot (the first parking turn out on left) Look for us at the end on the right @ table just behind the first Bathroom Building.

Registration Info:

$20.00 per person covers breakfast snacks, drinks, rest stop snacks, and water, and full lunch.
(Payment by cash or PayPal will be due by Ride Day.)
